Beschrijving
The snow crab (Chionoecetes opilio) is becoming increasingly popular, not least due to the low content of fat and calories but also the high protein levels. It has much in common with the larger king crab, possessing a fine white meat with a firm texture and delicate flavour which both characterise the snow crab.
We freeze our snow crab sections in brine and grade them into various sizes. The most common snow crab size for both 5-8oz although they can be seen as large as 14oz+ in Norway.
